Gary A. Wais, Senior Partner

A practicing trial lawyer for more than 25 years, Gary Wais earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland College Park in 1978, a Masters in Business Administration with a certificate in Administration and Management of Health from the University of Miami in 1979, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore in 1983.

Mr. Wais is a senior partner with the Law Firm of Wais, Vogelstein, & Bedigian with a practice focused on representing clients in complex medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury cases.

Mr. Wais is an experienced trial lawyer who has achieved jury verdicts in excess of ten million dollars on multiple occasions, as well as achieved settlements in excess of one million dollars on a regular basis.

Mr. Wais is a member of the American Association of Justice, the Maryland Association of Justice, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Bar Association of Baltimore City, the Baltimore County Bar Association, and he is admitted to practice law in all State Courts of Maryland as well as the Federal District Courts of the District of Maryland.  Mr. Wais has been a member of Maryland Super Lawyers every year since inception, and he was recognized as one of Baltimore Magazine’s Top Lawyers as well as the American Trial Association Top 100 Maryland Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Wais has been honored to present seminars and presentations to lawyers, physicians, and risk managers regarding a variety of topics related to medical malpractice.

Mr. Wais’ practice concentrates on medical malpractice cases primarily involving birth injury, cerebral palsy, wrongful death, and other catastrophic injuries.
